Project Objectives :
To develop a mindfulness-based intervention (MBI) for reducing stigma stress among parents of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
To examine the effectiveness of the MBI in reducing stigma stress (primary outcome) as well as depressive symptoms, sympathovagal imbalance, parental harshness, marital conflict, and child internalizing and externalizing problems (secondary outcomes)
To examine whether the primary outcome mediates the effects of the MBI on the secondary outcomes
